Family favorite

Lots of options - good all the way around. Enjoy the new BBQ sauce as well as the old favorites of queso and salsa.

I suppose the service and quality could differ between franchises...

And, yeah, if people are unfamiliar with a local shop they'll be more likely to stop where they know... it happens

Noted, it's not fine dining...

...but I always leave full and satisfied. Love the queso dip and they have decent guac (always a plus in my book).

I'm considering doing a review on the McDonalds Southwestern Chicken salad...my favorite among the fast-food-salad options.

Tasty but WOW the nutritional content!

I enjoy the food at Qdoba. My favorite dish is the spicy chicken nachos. But their website reports that the chips alone are 560 calories and 26 grams of fat - JUST THE CHIPS! The way I order the dish (queso, chicken, hot salsa, cheese), I'm int 1130 calories and 66 grams of fat. Even their kids meals have over 1,000 calories each.

I've changed my ways, to preserve my waistline, and I now order the Chicken Tortilla Soup Trio with a crispy taco and diet Coke... bringing my total caloric intake to 410 and fat intake to 20 grams. Still pretty fatty, but I won't have to spend two hours at the gym working off my lunch...

I guess this just supports the theory that knowledge is power, and ignorance is fatty.

Qdoba

My point wasn't that Qdoba isn't fine dining, but rather the fact that it's a chain restaurant. Do they really need to be reviewed? It's always just average/edible food. It's no wonder local restaurants seem to fail so much, it's not that they don't provide good food, but rather the chain addiction/comfort zone people have.
