Today:
The minds behind Cafe Patachou were feeling Franco so they opened this Canal-side cafe.
My friends and I love Petite Chou!!!! One could say I have a Petite Chou habit that is comparable to that of most drug addicts. At one time we were dining there 3-5 breakfast/lunches a week.
My usual breakfast club includes: A Kiwi, A Englishman and a guest or two. They travel in and out of the states quiet often and everytime upon their return to "Freedomland" there is a mandatory breakfast at Patachou. Its actually became an unspoken rule.
I have never once been disappointed with a single thing here. The service is always friendly, prompt, accurate and consistent. They know me by name and what my typical beverage of choice is which might not be difficult but it means a lot to me. Points like that add a level of professionalism and comfort to my dining experiences.
The food...The Croque's are amazing and filling! The broken yolk sandwich is always a delight. I am a tuna salad snob and theirs is always above par. Get it on a croissant. I can not praise this place enough.
I was never a fan of coffee until one morning I was waiting for a table and I figured "What the hell, I'll give it another try". I had to stop myself after 1 cup as to not develop another vice.
It will be a sad day in Broad Ripple if this place ever closes.
New Patachou location lives up to the name
With a locale in the thick of Broad Ripple action and all the firepower of the immensely popular Cafe Patachou restaurants, Petite Chou by Patachou ...
