You should stop here for a burger & a beer!!!!!!!!!!
Spencer's Stadium Tavern has only been open about 2 years, but in that 2 years it has quite a following. Not only is the staff friendly and they make you feel VERY welcome. My husband & I LOVE THIS PLACE! We come here to catch all the NFL action (they have the Sunday Ticket) and also will stop in for a burger and a beer if we don't feel like cooking. Pub grub abounds, but everything is good, from their appetizers to the grilled chicken salad. Visit Spencer's soon - you won't be disappointed!!!!!!

Great tavern near the new stadium
Wow - we love Spencer's. We've been frequenting this place since it opened 2 years ago and have had some great times here. The building was contructed in 1900 and was recently renovated but has lost none of it's antiquity or charm. It's not a huge building so expect this place to be packed to the gills when the new stadium opens. They have a full bar with heavy emphasis on great craft beers. There are always several excellent beers on draft (and in bottles) and there is usually one "retro" beer on draft (like Old Style or PBR). They have live music on Saturdays and NFL action on Sundays and karaoke on a week night (Mondays?) The service is great - everyone that works here is courteous and friendly. The menu is mainly pub grub consisting of appetizers, salads and sandwiches. Their hot wings and hamburgers and chili are wonderful but their Black & Bleu Fries are awesome - they're waffle fries with melted bleu cheese & bacon crumbles. If you haven't been here you must go........and soon!
