Come for the fare, but be sure to take in the history while you're there -- photos and paintings tell the story of Indianapolis' beginnings. Warm cherry woods, dark colors and a great view from the wall of windows give Kincaid's an elegant East Coast ambiance.
I was initiated to the Kincaids Happy Hour Club (5:00-7:00) yesterday by a few of my fellow lushes at work, with the promise of 3 dollar glasses of wine, and 3 dollar beers, so how could I say no?
The bar is GORGEOUS (Along with half the waitresses, and it is also extremely Couger/MILF friendly). The best part however is the happy hour menu which has appeteizers normally priced around 8-12 bucks for only 3 dollars as well. Oysters, baked brie, meatloaf sliders, sweet potato fries, calamari, etc. etc. etc...
The only downside, was the fact that our waiter was a complete idiot, but that happens, and really didn't take away from the experience at all. I just chalked that up to the old axiom "Hire the handicapped, they're fun to watch."
