Yum!!!
I've made it my mission to try as many sushi restaurants as I can in this city.
Sansui, in my opinion, is still the BEST of the ones i've tried. They include Ocean World, Sakura, Kona Grill to name a few.
There are a few things that stand out to me:
The fish is always fresh. The tuna, whether in a roll (which I prefer) or simply atop a pillow of rice, is always melt in your mouth delicious.
The prices are reasonable for their sushi, and a bargain if you opt for either the lunch or dinner specials.
The thing that I like most about Sansui is thier rice. All of the other sushi i've had so far has a very dense pasty rice. Maybe Sansui uses different rice or maybe they have a secret recipe... whatever they do to it... it is light and non-pasty yet still holds together and allows the fish to shine through.
So far, Sansui is my favorite place for sushi. I'm partial to their "Hoosier Roll" which is a mix of tuna, spicy sauce and avacado. Yum!
I'll continue to try others, but Sansui always keeps me coming back!
