I dined with the world's most beautiful lady here on Valentines day. We had a very pleasant experience except for some unusual things. First of all the food was some of the best served here in Indy. The Swordfish with it's spicey/sweet sauce challenged the tongue. The Sea Bass with it's red wine rosoto to me was a little plain but to the lovely lady it was the best she has tasted in a while. The shrimp cocktail is good but not as good as St. Elmos. The only issue with this restaurant is the seating. The seating is to close to have any privacy, I guess this is to make sure they can get more paying customers in the door, and this makes it impossible to have an intimate evening. Valentines day is suppose to be intimate I do believe. It seems that if you are a regular customer you get preferred seating no matter when you get there, but I really didn't see any advantage to their booth like tables. So no privacy but great food is the call for this fine diner.
I have eaten here 3 times now and have been very disappointed. The food is very average and certainly not worth the expense.
this is one of the better places in town. their pretzel bread was a nice treat and the steak was perfect. we did go on a very slow night, so it was very private for us.
Relaxing atmosphere
The ambiance is outstanding and reminds me of restaurants that are located in Chicago. The decor is modern but yet retains a bit of the old school charm where the bar area is located. The bone in steak is outstanding and the appetizers are very good. Their shrimp cocktail beats St. Elmo's, the truth is it is a bit pricey but if you enter an establishment such as this it should be expected.
