Today:
Tile, stone and faux-finishes approximate the feel of an Italian villa. After a bottle of red wine, you won't notice that you're not actually in Italy, or care for that matter. Casual dining for those who want a more authentic Italian culinary experience.
I loved this place! We went on a Saturday night so it was very busy but we chose to sit in the bar area and we were able to sit down immediately. I liked the atmosphere a lot and the food was great. I will definitely go back. The chocolate martinis were delicious.
Best food in Indy by far! I absolutely love that place. Great food and drink.
I have NEVER had a good experience at this place. Every time the food is either wrong, cold or the service is really bad. Just another chain Italian restaurant..
I agree with Allison. The two times I visited the Romano's in Carmel, I was disappointed. Slow and unfriendly service, lukewarm food that wasn't particularly tasty. Come on people, we have Amalfi's, Matteo's, Sangiovese, and Mama Carolla's to name a few ... all far better and locally owned Italian restaurants.
Nothing Spectacular
I've eaten here twice and the food was just so-so for me. There is a cool guy that works there that will sing happy birthday to you opera style. I think he's a local actor or something. He's very good. Other than that, I'm not impressed with the place.
