Local artist's work adorns the wall and a real-live roller girl makes most of the drinks here. Live music is in the mix, but the couches are comfy when its quiet.

A gem on the southside

This shop has cool staff, a relaxed atmosphere, and great unique drinks. This is no chain store, just a nice place to hang out and get your coffee on.

My favorite!

I love Strange Brew for the hummus bagel sandwich and strawberry jam smoothie!

I dream of this place.

Mmmmm, I cannot get to this place often enough. Every time I try something new - I have a new favorite. Sour cherry bubble tea, hot coco, the most amazing coffee drinks, pastries, and a hummus and cheese bagel sandwich that is my current obsession. They can make you whatever your little heart desires and provide a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy it. I heart Strange Brew.

Great place

I tried Strange Brew yesterday and drove for about 30 minutes from where I live (Southport area) just to get there. I enjoyed a white mocha and a veggie sandwich. Both were excellent and I wish I could have sampled more. I saw that they advertise a 32 oz mocha for $6 ??? Dang. I wish I lived closer to this place, or at least, they would open another closer to downtown.

Untouchable!!!!

Strange Brew is a great place to just hang out on a saturday. I have been in there several times the last few months, and have been amazed by the eclectic nature of the shop. Yes it is a coffee shop, but it is way more than that.

As you walk in, you notice the vibrant colors of all of the local art that is ever changing on the walls as you go in. Photographs, watercolors, oils all different forms and all stunningly wonderful and by local artists. (I was even able to talk to one of the artist when I was in there.)

Walking to the counter, you are met by the most interesting staff I have ever met. Colorfull hair, no hair and everything in between. They love a good story, and are great at telling you one as well.

The menu is full of amazing drings, sandwiches and baked goods that will make you forget you are in a coffee shop.

As you sit and enjoy your order, you can surf the net with their free WiFi, enjoy the music, talk to some of the regulars, get a chair massage or stare into the massive fish tanks that are actually stacked up on top of eachother!! A sight to be seen!!

All this in one little coffee shop. Amazing
