Today:
Number one for deep dish and design, Uno's has decorative glass and exposed warehouse ceilings that celebrate classic Chicago style. Uno is a stylistic throwback, but all the spirits are fresh.
The deep dish was pretty good, even when reheated this morning. Prices are a little steep but the larger pizza will easily feed 3 people. Service was crap though, not very good at all at our table, but other waiters seemed to be more on it.
Not the Same as Chicago
Uno's here is not the Uno's in Chicago. That should be obvious but we can always hope. The pizza's not half bad, it's actually pretty good. It's definitely missing something compared to the real deal in Chi-town though.
Once you've been there you're spoiled. I think it's a wee bit overpriced and my servers have bee slow every time.
