The decor is calming but the crowds can be almost raucous -- if you are looking for an intimate evening, look elsewhere. However, if relaxed dining is OK by you, then Oakley's Bistro has a lobster astride an artichoke waffle with your name on it.
I have been to Oakley's several times and recommended it to a lot of people--including my boss! The chef prepares seasonal plates that are delicious. It can be great for meeting friends, or a romantic evening. Occasionally the large table in the back is full and can get rather loud, but that has never really bothered me...maybe because the food is sooooo great. The wine by the glass selection is also innovative and exciting.
