Take the tails off!!!

I hate when you order a meal with shrimp and they leave the tails on. What's up with that? I made them take them off for me haha. Oh well. Anyway, I really like this place. Everything is tasty. I like eating inside, outside, in the banquet hall. One on one, with a large party, doesn't matter, it's a good time. The chocolate cake is amazing but embarrassing by the way. That thing is the size of your head and everyone in the restaurant turns and looks at it.

Great service, and good food.

Had dinner here last night with my boyfriend. We shared a full order of the calamari for an appetizer. The marinara dipping sauce was very fresh, didn't have the sweetness that some do, and seemed less acidic. The calamari itself was great and served piping hot. (This may seem unusual to mention, but you would be surprised at the food I've been served.)

Robert Mondavi's Vinetti was on special so we shared a bottle. This is a great red blend, a little dry, low acidity level, rich aroma, and a great smooth flavor.

For our main course we shared a full order of the Garlic Shrimp Linguine. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, very nice and juicy. They also weren't stingy like some places, and gave us a proportionate amount to our noodles. I don't know what laura99in is talking about, because I didn't have any tails on my shrimp, and I didn't request for them to be taken off.

Our waitor was fantastic. He was constantly attentive, and checking to make sure we were okay. When my wine glass started getting low, he would stop by and pour some more in our glasses (even when my bf didn't really need his glass filled more, he would top it off a bit). The kitchen took ages in cooking our linguine. At first I thought our waiter was timing our meal based on the pace we were eating the appetizer, but then it began to be a little long. Right after I had thought that it had taken to long to get our dinner, our waiter stopped by and apologized for how long our main course was taking, and offered to buy us dessert. I didn't even complain! That's what I call service. He was always one step ahead of us, and even asked if we wanted the dessert for there or boxed to take with us.

The portions are huge here! My bf and I shared full portions of an appetizer, and entree. We both had enough linguine left over to take it to work for lunch today!

I loved the low light ambience. I'm like a vampire so anything with harsh lighting gets an F in my book. This place gets an A. Overall we had a great evening, and I'd highly recommend this place for an unpretentious yet comfortable meal.

One of the Best experiences ive had

I will have to say that for a chain restaurant this was the best experience ive ever had. The waiter was well trained knew what he was talking about and helped us out. The fact that he brought to our attention that it was taking to long for food and that he bought us a dessert on the house because of it was amazing. The food was cooked wonderfully. The shrimp was plump and juicy and everything was great. I would recommend it to anyone that just got done shopping and wants something to eat. It is pricey but you get what you pay for. And the service speaks for itself.

Awesome food - don't sit next to the fountain

The food here is mind blowing. don't sit right by the fountain though unless you like being splashed on.

Do yourself a favor and have the cheese ravioli and the creme' brulee. you won't forgive yourself if you miss it.

Solid Italian Food

When work is paying for it, I get to eat at Maggiano's. And since work is paying for it, I've tried about every appetizer and three or four different dishes. I found that I like everything I've ate there, if it wasn't for the price, it would be 5 stars. But it is worth the price. Calamari is especially stellar.
