Today:
Someone forgot to tell these nattily dressed Hibachi chefs not to play with their food. Less austere and stern than some traditional sushi houses, the emphasis here is on fun.
We love to go to Kabuto with a big group. My husband and I always share a hibachi plate and sushi. Too much sushi, but that's the way I like it! Lunch is a better deal than dinner, but either way you get your money's worth. You have to try the red snapper, it's delicious!
The grilled eel box at Kabuto is a superior food product. We go there for big parties with 6 or more people and they treat us right. The sushi isn't anything too fancy, but it's good quality and well prepared.
Having a giant Kirin while you wait is part of the experience, because I always have to wait at least half an hour there. That's just fine though, more Kirin for me.
The scallops are good like Allison says!
This place is better than Benihana. I recommend the Steak Yakisoba. it is awesome.
The whole family likes it here. The youngest isn't so much into the food, but she's definitely entertained by the chef. The rest of us love the whole thing. The sushi may not be the "best in town", but it's better than average and the hibachi is as good if not better than any other place in town. Good location for us and decent prices, too.
Excellent lunch for a great price!
Whenever I come home from SF (also known as awesome Asian food capitol of the US) I would make a trip to Kabuto's, My fav Japanese restaurant!
Great Hibachi lunch for under $10, gotta try the scallops!
Decent sushi for the price and this being Indiana and all...
