Red, green and white with tile floors, an ecclectic clientele often lines up right out the door at Giorgio's. Glass display cases seperate the teaming masses from the steaming food. Between the customers and the employees there's and lots-ah shouting.
i love this place! it reminds me of Sal's pizzeria from "Do the Right Thing"... minus the racial overtones (tho there aren't "any pictures of any bruthas on the wall" here either:). The pepperoni breadsticks are good (though one day I got some one day as a take-out order that DIDN'T have pepperoni in them)... but the Giorgia Specialty pizza is amazing. Giorgio's is more than a great lunchtime spot for downtown office folk or a quick, cheap dinner for urban dwellers - it is worth a special trip. Going to a Pacers game or shopping downtown? Don't waste your money on the savories at Conseco or the food court slop - stop by this sweet little pizza outfit for the best slice-style, thin crust pizza that I've ever had in central Indiana! Their sassy counter service is fun & their food is classic pizza-parlor style and taste.
Best bets: anything, but the cheese slice is truly something special. The rolls and calzones are also excellent, coming with a slightly sweet, but still yummy tomato sauce. Regardless of the salads' standard iceberg base, the hot pepperoncini and salty olives make it worth adding to your meal.
