Today:
Einstein Bros.' shmear campaign is wide ranging and aggressive, with more than two dozen different styles of bagels and several proprietary cream cheese blends. These geniuses also serve scads of circular sandwiches for lunch.
The parking sucks!!!!!!!
But other than that I love the place. Because of the parking I find myself not going there. I wish they would move to a better location, like over by Marsh where there is plenty of parking. It's so hard to get out of there too. I feel like I'm risking my life by leaving the parking lot and getting back on the road. But damn are the bagels good!
I'm not big on the chains but if you want a decent bagel in Indy, you pretty much have to visit a chain. I'm actually eating one of their bagels and some cream cheese for breakfast as I type this. Good stuff. My favorite, however, is their lunch sandwich bagels.
They are always busy. If I'm eating there, I usually sit at one of the tables outside in the warm weather so I can breathe.
Their new menu is much better than the old one. They now have a pick two, kind of lick Panera, but with a fairly limited number of choices. The staff is friendly, but the process of making the food can be a little time consuming. If they had more than one person making sandwiches at a time, it wouldn't be so bad but most of the time it seems like one person is working very hard and the rest are standing there. The coffee is decent too.
Good food
The food if great but getting in there at lunch time in imposable. and it is a bit more expensive than McD's.
