Today:
The mishmash of ancient architectural elements perfectly suits a restaurant with aspirations to be a culinary empire. The star of the show of course, is cheesecake. Tens of thousands of these little delights are shipped daily from a dream world of magic known as the original Cheesecake Factory. Life is short. Order another slice of cheesecake.
This was my first time dining at the Cheesecake Factory and I loved it. It was packed so we were able to sit at the bar and wait for a table. Bartenders were prompt with our drinks and we waited maybe :20 mins. The Spinach-artichoke dip with 3 sides of dipping sauces was a nice touch. Their sourdough bread fresh out of the oven was mouth watering. The bow-tie sun-dried tomato pasta/chicken dish was great. My friend had the cajum shrimp pasta dish and commented that it was excellent...alittle on the spicy side for me...had a kick to it. He tried the carrot cheesecake and I tried the Banana Cheesecake. The menu is absolutely enormous. I normally dont ever make it to the actual dishes cause the appetizers and a desert are enough for me. The place is kinda pricey but your getting alot of food. It is somewhat of a trendy spot and the wait is long, but well worth it and the 3-Layer Fudge Cake is the bomb. I always take a slice home with me when i go there. I would recommend that if you dont eat there at least go in and grab some cake you wont be disapointed.
