Today:
Critics have lauded the cafes omelets, granola and smoked salmon.
Breakfast and Sunday Brunch with the family are always bustling, but the superior waitstaff smooths over any wrinkles in the dining experience.
Patachou is one of my favorite eateries in this city. It's so good I can't get enough.
For breakfast, the waffles and French toast are second to none and decidedly unique. Oh and please, don't order the waffle without the nuts, it changes the dish completely.
For lunch, best chicken salad sandwich I've ever had that wasn't made by my mother. The soups are great, all of them. However, don't go too late, as they tend to run out of the Soup of the Day. Finally the Oregano Vinagarette is without a doubt the best salad dressing I've ever had.
The service is casual, and pretty underwhelming, but for a place like this it is passable. The atmosphere is interesting especially if you are accustomed to the Petite Chou or the Downtown location, then you wander into the piece-mealed together Penn location.
Pretty much one of my favorite places to eat in town, I try to go once a week. And it's well worth your time.
Great for Lunch Meetings
I've been multiple time to meet friend or have a business lunch. Always amazing food. Even though it get's busy, I've never had more than a 10-15min. wait! You have to try the chicken salad!
