Today:
Bazbeaux outgrew the claptrap house it occupied for so many years on Westfield Blvd., but it hasn't lost its personality. A stone's throw down Westfield from its original location, this casual pizzeria is a cornerstone of the Broad Ripple restaurant scene.
to not ADORE Bazbeaux, but I don't think it's anything special. I mean, it's good. It's fine. It's local and it's not Papa Domino's Hut, but . . . eh.
I LOVE the location in Broad Ripple. GREAT location. Perfect deck for chilling with a beer on a summer afternoon.
But it's still nothing super special.
Then again, I have a feeling that people here think about Bazbeaux the same way I think about In N Out. It's just a local, you miss it when you're far away, and it's only in Indy type of thing.
is great.
Pizza rules.. bad pizza is still pizza, but Bazbeaux is a cut above most places.
that a lot of the items on the menu are "nothing special"...the Margherita pizza is to die for!!
PIZZA ALLA QUATTRO FORMAGGIO - Romano, cheddar, ricotta, mozzarella, provolone, bacon and mushroom
Yummmmmmmmmmmmmm
Pizza may be pizza, but not all pizza places carry some of the toppings they do at Beaux's. The greek is my absolute favorite. It's really nice and salty and goes great with a soda or a beer. It's def. not just some pizza place. The atmosphere is nice too, Broad Ripple and Mass Ave.
Ive eaten here plenty of times. Its always been a good experience. The spring/fall time are the best times to go out there and sit on the deck and eat.
Its great pizza, a little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. Fresh pizza and lots of choices.
Freshest pizza I've had in a long time. Delicious topping combos and a cold beer at the right price make this a no brainer of a great lunch or dinner spot. Never had to wait and really looking forward to eating there this summer outside!! Pizza for two won't break the bank and your taste buds will thank you!
When you want a basic pepperoni pizza, Bazbeaux's is awful. I had to salt the pizza because it had no flavor. There's no excuse for pizza that bad. The pepperoni was flavorous. A big no no in my book!
Still have not found a better pizza in Indianapolis. The traditional slices are not much to write about, but the specialty pizzas are where it's at. Personally never thought about the combination of Pine Nuts and Avocados, but when my palette landed such bliss, I have never looked back.
The pizza is ok, but what I love is the view in the summer on the patio. It is a great hang out when I am in B.ripple.
Once you've eaten earth shattering pizza in NYC, you can never go back to average. And that's what we have here. Their thin and thicker crust seem to be the same thing. They're good in a pinch. But nothing to die for.
Great Pizza
They have such a great selection of salad, bread and pizza here! Everyone who comes to Broad Ripple should go at least once. The pizza are a nice size to share with friends or just keep all to yourself with extra left overs! Great Place, Great location(s)
