Today:
A mass-produced approximation of a neighborhood restaurant.
I live in the Irvington area and have been to this Applebees several times an have had a great time with the staff, no problems with the food and look forward to comming back to entertain more of my friends as they come into town. It is typically what you expect from the chain and will be back.
Great Food ... Great Times
Visited recently with the love of my life, Indy_Cindy!
We both had the three-course-classics.
She started with the Boneless Buffalo Wings, had the Chedder-Jack Melt&Cheese as her main course, then finished off with the Apple Caramel Supreme.
I started with the Crunchy Onion Rings, had the Cedder-Jack Melt&Cheese as my main course, and finished off with some Key Lime Pie.
Other than Cindy's Buffalo Wings being a little too hot for her tastes (and the portions being too big for both of us - we 'both' took food home), it was a great evening out.
The ambiance was good, we were seated promptly, the food was quite good, and we both got out the door with the above + soda's for right at $30 ... all in all, a great deal.
The only reason there are four stars up there and not five, is that the service was a little slow (both in bringing us our drinks, our food, as well as checking on us during the meal, and processing our check) ... forgivable if they were busy, but this was on a Wednesday night.
Recommended! :)
