Named for Chef Mario DiRosa's coastal hometown of Naples, Italy, Amalfi Ristorante Italiano offers Indy a truly authentic Italian dining experience. DiRosa is well-known to greet his patrons table side, so ask for his recommendations from the visible walk-in wine cellar. The service, cuisine and atmosphere don't lend themselves to family dining, so get a sitter and make reservations for a romantic evening in the private dining room.

So surprised no one has made a review on this fine establishment. My husband and I went her for the first time about 7 years ago and fell in love with the food, let alone being able to have a nice dinner, not feel rushed and be able to carry on a conversation at a normal volume. They start your out with wonderful eggplant-never tried and pleasantly loved. The menu is perfect. very differnt from other Italian establishments. Grab your loved one for a perfect evening
