A lot of restaurants have great wine lists. But Agio owner Jeff Wright has more than 7,000 tastings under his belt, so you'd do well to buy any bottle he recommends. The subdued atmosphere soothes diners whether in the bar, in the dining room, or on the patio.

I head to Agio about once a month and consistently enjoy the service and atmosphere. The selections from the limited menu (which I can almost recite from memory) are generally quite good, although I wouldn't vote down new selections in the near future. A shout-out to the bartender, who always makes great martinis. Oh, and the use of local art on the walls is always a plus in my book. Just a sidenote that the meals, while worth almost every penney, aren't for the budget-challenged.
One of my fav Mass Ave eateries. Consistently good with excellent service! Great wine list!
Great food, wonderful winelist, yummy martinis, good service, great atmosphere. Love this place!
The service and atmosphere were wonderful, but the food could have been better. Fairly short menu with impressive specials. Didn't try any wine, but they did have a decent beer selection including a seasonal Bell's offering.
Yum!
Went to a beer tasting and hors d'oeurves party at Agio's last week. The food was fabulous and very special. One thing they made was long spaghetti-like strings of potato, wrapped around shrimp, and then lightly deep-fried. This is NOT your average franchised restaurant! Much more special.
