A2Z Cafe

4705 E. 96th St., Indianapolis, IN, 46240

An exposed industrial-style ceiling looms over the dining room, but sconces and hanging lights bring A2Z back down to earth. Decorative chairs, light fare and an even paler shade of room.

Not so great

Service was intrusive. We hardly had the opportunity to complete a sentence before our waitress was interrupting us. I had the grouper and it was overcooked and hard, couldn't even finish eating it-gave me indigestion. The salad and pasta were O.K., but just no so great. Won't be going back.

Avoided due to to signage

I had a graphic design nightmare while driving past this restaurant saturday. I saw the street-side signage in the open hood of a car on the corner as I entered to go to Chipotle on 96th st. It was the same sign you would see at a used car lot or garage sale. Terrible advertising. After observing more-closely, I noticed the Filet Mignon ad in the window that closely resembled most "for sale/lease" signage. All this not to mention the fact that the A2Z tells me nothing besides the fact that they probably offer so many menu Items that they specialize in none. Gordon Ramsey would have a hay-day. a2z: If you're reading this, please contact me. I can help with signage design.

This place is amazing, so what if advertising/signs aren't so wonderful. And I have great prompt service every time
