Monday Night Football and Chicken!

Ate at ye olde Oaken Barrel last night. Pretty tasty. The lil lady had a cobb salad, she likes it! I had some yummy veggie beef soup, a buffalo chicken sammich and the ever tasty beer battered fries. mmmmmmm. Our server, can't remember his name but dude had a goatee, was AWESOME! Never went thirsty the whole time, in fact Im sorta bloated from all the drink! All in all, pretty good dining experience last night.

dependable for great food & beer

If you're looking for great food, excellent hand-crafted beers, and good service then you only need to drive to Greenwood and visit the Oaken Barrel Brewing Co. I've been going here since they opened approx 12 years ago and have never had a bad or even marginal experience. They have several beers on tap that are brewed on site. And, their food is great and affordable. You can choose from pub grub or entrees - whatever you're in the mood for. Must try: The Idaho Nachos appetizer, the Mile High Reuben, and the Heartstopper Burger (don't let the name scare you). The only non-recommendation would be the Fish & Chips - looks & tastes like frozen fish planks.
