Bad service, not the same NJ

After leaving Indy for Chicago after 4 years, I visited Indy and recommended to my husband to have a late lunch at Neon Johnny's because I remembered it to have a very exciting atmosphere, courteous people and good food. But I was so disappointed when we were met with unattending waiters, who played all the time in that little front corners, all of them, left our sodas and our check in the bar for us to fetch. Not that they were busy, for Gods sake, there were only three couples in the restaurant! We ordered a couple of specialty burgers and requested to be medium. They sent bitter burgers. Meaning it was burnt from the outside and slightly pink inside.

NJ Manager, if you are reading this, you are losing from placing those waiters who's doing nothing but annoy customers. They are the people in the restaurant from 2 to 3 pm on Dec 3. It's your lost if you don't do anything. Not mine. I don't live there anymore. And you might be out of business by the time we come back if you don't do anyhting.

Nice Atmosphere--lots of TVs

I like this place. They have lots of TVs although I'd like to see them upgrade the larger ones. Plasma please. I love the Steak sandwich, but they are a bit skimpy with the fries. Perhaps they are looking out for our health. I';d say the food is quite good, better than your average bar food. It's a good place to watch March Madness. Nice Neighborhood bar.

Great Place for Sports and Coors Light Lovers

I love this bar. Me and my friends go there about 3 times a week. They have about 4 projection screens that are great for big games. If it is a local team (colts, hoosiers, boilermakers, etc.) they will usually play the sound through the jukebox. They have maybe 4 or 5 big screens, but picture quality isnt very good. They also have many small tv's throughout the bar. Food is pretty good. The have high priced pizza on saturday and monday which is a great deal and is actually very good. The have coors light bottles on monday and thursday for 1.75. $6 Coors Light pitchers on Sat and Sun. They have Miller for 1.75 on Wednesday. Service is fairly good except for two really bad servers (you will know who they are if you get them) Not big on games however. Have like 3 arcade machines and i pool table. Place is a lot bigger than it looks like from the outside. Great atmosphere. For younger drinkers, weekends are hit and miss. Would definetely recommend it during the weeks, and sometimes on the weekends (is packed if there is a big game)

pizza to die for

The title says it all...seriously, and the stuff is 1/2 off if you dine-in on Sat nights. Wow. I eat pizza for the crust and sauce and both are super. The drink specials are a great match and a nice place to sit and watch a game.

I love this place!

I just moved to Indy in Nov, my husband and I along with everyone I know now will go to Neon Johnny's. They have the best pizza I have ever had and on Mon and Sat you can get a huge one for like 7 bucks! There is only One waiter that I hate to go when he is there, but even he tried to do better the last time I was there...I would and do recommend anyone to eat pizza and coors light (of course) here....Excellent Keep up the good work guys at Neons!
