Today:
Live music is a monthly amenity at this cozy neighborhood pub. Live tunes are complemented by an array of standard bar entertainment and breaded tenderloins, meaning that 86th Street Pub can satisfy the needs of any Hoosier.
They also have Karaoke every Friday night. It's a blast!
Show runs from 9pm to 2am. They got voted as one of the top places in Indianapolis to go for karaoke in 2007 in NUVO. They could use a dance floor at times but this usually doesn't stop the dancing if the mood hits some of the people. But all in all... a great time is had by everyone!
Food is good and reasonable. Good sized portions. Drink specials are available most every night. Sorry don't remember the Friday night one's at the moment.
Giant Burrito Wednesdays!
I've been here a few times when it wasn't Wednesday... They have pretty good food, the Giant Burrito is tops for me.. a whole plate of food with a Burrito under it all. I believe the burrito is only filled with beans, and it's topped with ground beef, and all of the toppings you want, lettuce tomatoes, salsa, cheese, jalapeños and banana peppers, sour cream and black olives if you're into black olives that is.. aside from Wednesdays a specialty of theirs is their vegetable beef soup, which is always good. A breaded or grilled tenderloin, I go with the grilled, very tender cut of pork, and fresh toppings. Not the cheapest of lunches... usually 8-9 bucks for lunch with a drink.
