One of My Favorites
The Indianapolis Art Center (formerly the Art League) is one of my favorite spots in the city. (Confession: I used to teach kids arts camp there years ago. There's a chance I'm a little biased.) The curriculum they offer is wonderful; from painting to glass blowing, stone carving to metal work and beyond. The campus isn't to shabby either. They've expanded it recently to include the ARTSPARK and rumor is they're going to expand and/or remodel the cultural complex that they have. It's right at the north end of Broad Ripple so if you find yourself in the area, it's a great place to just stroll around at the very least.
