Add this venue's events to my calendar
The Zoo has changed a lot since I was a kid. While there are some new interesting exhibits(ie the Dolphin Dome), they have cut the number of unique animals in half. The Ocean Building lost a lot of animals in order to add the shark touch tank. There is a "4-D" Spongebob theatre and a children's roller coaster! I enjoy zoos for the unique animals, not the theme park rides designed to make you pay even more money after admission.
lethargic
This Fall I took my niece and nephew to the Zoo, their first time going - what a waste. The animals were so lethargic they looked dead. My Nephew who is almost 2 even point out to one of the wild dogs and said "dead dog". I was like no hunny he is sleeping. The most exciting animal there was the polar bear - he was actually moving and swimming around.
