Tempting torte

I actually have to keep myself from going downstairs (I work in the building) more than once per week because the Sundried Tomato Pesto Torte is one of my current obsessions (and has been for a few months now). Maybe it's the pine nuts. Maybe it's the perfect pesto. Or maybe it's the creamy cheese. I'm sure it's all of the above, but I crave it often. And on a blue cheese baguette. OMG. Wonderful.

This Canal-side location has all your favorites from the Mass Ave location (except MY fave, the steak sandwich). But it's a nice change of pace from the Mass Ave locale and is more of a cafeteria-style setup, so makes for a great lunch spot (though they're open for breakfast now too).
