Today:
The no-frills atmosphere of checkered tablecloths, simple framed art and casually dressed servers aren't a symptom of laziness or cost consciousness as much as a reflection of the restaurant's focus on serving quality food at a decent price.
The thing about this place that never fails: if the service is good, the food will be bad. If the food is good, the service will be bad.
When the food is good, it's good. When it's bad, well, jeez, Fazoli's would be better.
Don't miss the salads--the dressings are all homemade and very tasty. The pizza, when good, is along the lines of Some Guys or (maybe) Bazbeaux. The pasta is hit or miss. Avoid the spicy shrimp pasta, which is just plain wierd and sweet for no apparent reason.
Puccini's never fails
If you're too lazy to make something yourself but too picky to settle for Domino's, Puccini's never fails. Rank it right up there with Bazbeaux's Pizza as far as quality. Delivery or dine in; the service is always great. Their non-pizza dishes don't disappoint either.
