Great Pie!

This is a great place to eat ! The homemade pizza is thin, crispy and features ground pepperoni that parties in you mouth. Order a junior salad and you have a great meal. I wish there were one closer to downtown!

Good stuff

Another great pizza place. As a fan of thin crust pizza, I like this place. They have different toppings like pepperoni, sausage, and much more...;) It's seriously some good stuff. I'm glad it FINALLY opened on 96th street.

Arni's - Not as good as Lafayette

I have been an Arni's fan for about 20 years. I used to go there with my fiance and her family when we attended Purdue games in Lafayette. The pizza was always great in an Arni's kind of way, and the salads and sandwiches were well made, plentiful and tasty.

Having said that, I am none too impressed with the latest Arni's on 96th Street.

Oh they try hard, they just don't seem to make the grade. The pizza is only passable. It lacks the "finish" of the original Arni's. The crust was less than done and had a rubbery, almost stale quality that I didn't expect from one of my favorite standby pizza places.

The salads are still great and the modern atmosphere and decor, while not the Arni's of old, is a definite improvement in style.

We recently went back to give this Arni's another try, and I am glad we did. The pizza was much better. The lasagna our friends had looked to be first rate and the service was good. Therefore - 3 stars for now.

Hopefully, I will be able to come back after another visit and push that star count higher, as I really like Arni's overall and I want to see this one do well. It's a great family place with generally good food and reasonable prices and the size of the menu will almost certainly surprise you.

More Expensive and Less Entertaining Pizza King

I find that almost all of Arni's Pizzas and Sandwiches are very similar to Pizza King and Pizza King is cheaper! Arni's also does not have a train deliver your drinks like Pizza King.
