Today:
Light yellow walls harmonize with exposed brick and a dark wooden bar, recessed lights in the ceiling augment wall-mounted torch-like lamps, and the patio is enclosed with brick walls and iron fencing bringing a local flavor to Zionsville!

I checked out this place after hearing about it from my parents. I went at dinnertime and it had a dark and relaxing atmosphere. The menu had quite a few interesting items rarely seen in other Indianapolis area restaurants. I began with the hummus appetizer plate which came with some colorful tortilla chips and some flour tortilla wedges. It was kind of nice to try with the flour tortillas; however, I think I would have preferred the usual pita bread accompaniment. For the main course, I had the trout, which was very delicious and known as a "house favorite" For dessert, I had the brownie which had different kinds of chocolate and some almonds with ice cream and it was very delicious. I will definitely be coming back and trying some of the other "interesting" items on the menu.
Chef Michel Wilson has returned to his original home at the Cobblestone Grill. We had crab cakes (very good), chicken florentine just right for my wife, I had amberjack lightly blackened with a creamy peppery sauce (perfectly prepared). Filet Oscar was reported delicious and half of Pasta Mediteranean went home. Leave room for home made dessert - carrot cake and coconut creme brulee were particularly good. Nice wine list with interesting by the glass offerings. Really worth a visit if you like American cuisine. Casual in the bar was nice, too.
