Great After Work Bar

The Brockway is a small pub with a great Irish feel. It's a good, less pricy alternative to the Claddagh. In fact, I'd say the fish and chips is just as good as the Claddagh. However, that's one of very few menu items they have. If you are looking for a full menu, this place is not for you.

This place is good if you are looking for a decent beer selection and full bar.

The only cool bar in Carmel

Thanks to DigitalAngel I now know they serve some food but that doesn't even matter because if you live in Carmel you know that there's practically nowhere to go to drink! The Brockway Public House is almost perfect! Great beers on tap and a very cool layout. Totally reminds me of the way British and Irish pubs are in their respective countries (with a little modernization). The only gripe I have with the bar is the live music. It seems that every bar in Indiana feels the need to have live music because they've done some research and found out that bars with live entertainment do better than those that don't. Some of the live music is good and some is just too loud. Regardless, the bar itself rocks and it's perfect and convenient for all Carmel residents!

Black & Tans

Great place to hang and play some darts, have a well poured Black & Tan, and devour a generous helping of fish & chips. Try the blue cheese sauce on the homemade chips. They need a few more tables and chairs (they have the room for them).

Finally a reason to come to Carmel.

As Doberman said, this is THE best pub in Carmel, if not the city. The booze selection and staff are amazing, the ambience is as authentic as it comes, a steel tip dart board, and a great group of regulars, has made The Brock my pub of choice. One caveat however, is please consider a cab, as the popularity of this place has finally given Carmel PD something to do besides wait for the occasional massage parlor raid.
