The food is so good that you'll never hear anyone complain about the limited choices - no matter what they have, you're gonna like it. Diners order at the counter. Served over rice with a piece of garlic-buttered bread, Yats' dishes are an unprecedented convergence of high quality and low cost.
With so many chains on the southside, it's great to have another locally owned place nearby. The great menu is going to attract southsiders in droves as the word filters out.
Local Yats
I am so happy and excited to have a Yats on the south side.
No, the ambiance is not the same as Mass Ave. and BR but this is a really big step up for the south side. You have to remember this is in a strip mall, on US 31, so to me having a Yats at all is great!
I was here on opening day, the day after opening day, and the day after that... (then I went to Cali for a week) but have been back at least once a week since then. I love that we finally have another locally owned eatery to visit.
Every day this place seems to get a little bit better and a little bit more familiar with the true Yats concept I have grown to love over my years in Indy.
