Today:
Only breakfast is served over this counter these days.
I kind of wish I had read the above review before going there. I'm pretty sure no one bled in a milkshake while I was there, but you never know. The atmosphere is classic diner with the addition of a few out of place pool tables. I haven't been at night, so they may seem more appropriate then, but during lunch they seemed odd. It's a good location to see pretty much all of fountain square. Too bad they don't have more sidewalk seating (needed everywhere in Fountain Square).
Like mentioned above, this is your classic diner. I have been on a couple nights and it is sorta filled up. Mostly by the people who are doing swing dancing next door. It isn't exactly the cleanest neatest place. Most of their bowls and dishes look like they are from my 90 year old grandmas house. Interesting to say the least.
Now a smokehouse?
I used to go in here to draw when it was still half antique mall/thrift store. I loved the mood until the day I ordered a milkshake and the waitress cut her finger on the blade, bled in my milkshake and continued to blend it and serve it to me. Nevermore.
