What a surprise - it was delicious!!!

If you have been to the Greenwood Mall area at Christmas, you will know it is 'do or die' time. Absolutely crazy! But my friend and I made the voyage anyway... When hunger grabbed us, we went to the one place that we knew there wouldn't be a wait - TGI Fridays in the mall. I only expected greasy bar food that would put an end to my growling belly -- but what I got was one of the best meals I have had in a long time!

We started with the spinach dip (free coupon...) which was good. But it was the main course that was delicious! Parmesan crusted-chicken with a side of tortellini and mozzarella/tomato salad. The chicken was delicious - perfect texture (I can't handle chicken if it isn't prepared perfectly - no exposed veins or tendons, please!!), excellent flavor…and the pasta was al dente to perfection! And, even though it is winter, somehow the tomatoes in the mozzarella salad tasted fresh and summery!

The only negatives were the smell of the restaurant (bar area) which my friend described as smelling like - well, just say it did not smell good. But service was fast and the wait staff was kind!

Good even when it isn't Friday

Good Menu - Good Drinks - Hey, I like Applebees as much as the next guy, but when I want a good drink, and some more variety on the menu including Jack Daniels sauces and crispy green bean fries w/ wasabi dip.

not very good

the food was a little low in quality, but i guess thats what we payed for anyway. my friends and i were hungry after shopping and stopped by memorial day weekend. we walk in the bar and the bartenders were arguing over who was going to wait on us. i guess they were trying to eat. really tacky. so we asked to be sat on the other side of the restuarant. our server was polite but clueless. we ordered some coctails and they looked nothing like the ones in the menu and they didnt even have the garnish it showed in the menu. our side salads had brown lettuce in them, spinich dip was cold, however my pasta was pretty good. all and all it was just really bad and i really didnt appreciate the whole arguing over who was going to wait on us because so and so rang in their food first. i will never go back there and i suggest the same to everyone else
