This place keeps getting busier on the weekends and has turned out to be great fun. A live band usually plays on Friday nights and lots of dancing goes on.
We have eaten here several times, mainly because of its location to our home, and many of the food items have been just so,so. However, I recently tried the grilled chicken spinach salad with honey mustard and it was absolutely one of the best salads I have ever had. The pizzas are pretty good too.
The food and the atmosphere at George's is nice. I loved the tenderloin sandwich, so good! I even met "George" once ... that dude knows how to live. Walked around drinking wine and talking to all the tables. He seemed like a nice guy. They've got a decent number of tvs for sports, but the few times i've been there, it seems they show only one or two things on all of them. I'd recommend it.
Since George's has been open, it's been one of my favorite places to go. I'm one of those that likes a place and goes over and over again. I have had their chicken velvet soup. It's the bomb!! Also, I have had their 71st club salad. Also the bomb!!! Lastly the salmon chipotle special is exquisite.
I don't go out to eat a lot, but when I do - I go to George's.
Not bad
It's pretty good, a lot like Pat Flynns. They have a pretty good menu. Only problem is sometimes the wait is very long.
