Vacant for far too long, this space at the south end of the Murphy Building is now the home of sizzling fajitas and warm tortillas. High-backed booths make alcoves for dining, drawing a small space even tighter to create a homey atmosphere.
I tried the chimichanga and was delighted by the amount of green pepper liberally sprinkled with the chicken in a crispy wrap. My wife ordered the special dinner plate, a sort of sampler item, and was overwhelmed by the two plates of food. She particularly enjoyed the chile rellenos.
The service was prompt, and the food order came quickly.
Visiting El Arado Mexican restaurant in Fountain Square, my work buds (aka Mary and Ben) and I were able to eat three overly filling meals ...
But no Cerveza as are waiting for a liquor license (I was assured in two weeks). Located on the southwestern corner of the Murphy Building this quaint and homey place is just what Fountain Square needed! Wonderful service and Salsa that is spicy with hints of onion and cilantro. The menu is simple and easy. Also the food is reasonably priced and delish!
Outstanding
I've been there numerous times for lunch and dinner. Good selection (almost too much) of food at good prices. Service is also top notch.
