Castle? Other restauranteurs are happy with a cafe or House. I guess everything's bigger in Fishers.

Great Luch Menu
As a fan of Thai food, I'll try just about any place to see how it measures up to what I consider the best Thai place in town--Sawasdee (best Thai place anywhere?). At the time of this review, Thai Castle is only a month or so old. However, they're off to a great start. If you're in Carmel, be sure to stop in.
I tried the #1.4 on the "Luch" menu. It's a variation of Drunken Noodles with chicken, bean sprouts, broccoli and cilantro. The taste was very good. The only fault with this dish was that it didn't have any sauce surrounding it. All of the flavor was on the food. I noticed this was the case with the other noodle or rice dishes that were sampled at my table. Before our main dish, we all tried the sweet and sour soup and either a spring or egg roll. Much to my surprise, the soup was perfect with just the right amount of sweetness and spice--right up there with the better Thai places in town. I had a spring roll that was served warm with a slightly hot peanut oil dipping sauce. It was nice to have a choice between the spring roll or the egg roll. From what I heard around the table, the egg rolls were also good.
My brother-in-law was more adventurous and tried the Thai Noodle Soup. I've been disappointed by variations on noodle soup because they never match up to the #10 at...I'm going to stop mentioning the other place. However, I got to taste this soup and it stood up on it's own. VERY GOOD. I was upset that I didn't have a bowl to myself.
The only problem with this place was the stupid television. We happened to be there when Jerry Springer was on (I've complained about this on other reviews) and it almost made it impossible to eat. I'm not sure what you're all into, but I have a hard time eating when there's a large pole-dancing, hairy man wearing a bra on TV. We got up and turned it off and the man serving us switched it back on just a few minutes later!!!!
If you get a chance to go soon for "Luch" be sure to look over the menu carefully as there are a lot of classic "Engrish" gems that you will not want to miss.
This place is worth the trip.
