The best find yet! the Tenderloin on Tuesday is the best I have ever had, and the Reuben is as good as in New York. Seasoning on the fries really good. They make you feel at home! Very friendly service, Music on Wednesday Nights and Saturday Lunch. Very family Friendly. Great news for the east side.
Gotta try the Brownie!!
We wanted to try something different, on a lazy Saturday afternoon. So the wife and I ventured to Shadeland Avenue in search of the Tie Dye Grill. Upon entering we were asked to seat ourselves. We caught the very end of what appeared to be an acoustic set by a couple young musicians (wish we'd been earlier as what I heard sounded good).
The layout is kind of odd, but the wait staff was very friendly. My wife choose the Iggy Italian ($7.95), while I had the Turkey and smoked Gouda Panini ($5.95) and we shared the Bogart Cheese Fries ($4.95). While the food was good, we were shocked that the sandwiches did not come with any side items. We also shared the Nifty Brownie ($3.50) which was ooooh soooo good!! I'm not typically a brownie fan but this was good. Served warm the thick moist brownie had a layer of gooey marshmallow and was topped with a melted chocolate rice crispy concoction.
Tie Dye Grill is on the list . But only for the brownie.
