Why weren't these around when I was in college?
An all you can eat pizza buffet seems like a no-brainer concept, but they were actually pretty rare before Cici's. Sure, Pizza Hut has offered a lunch buffet at select locations for years and years, but who likes getting up before 2 pm to eat breakfast? Not me. Well, not before I became an old man and got a 9-5 job, at least.
This is the cheapest pizza you can get and definitely not the best tasting, but their philosophy is quantity over quality, and if you're a poor, hungry student, this is a great place to have your one meal of the day. The cool thing about Cici's is that they take requests, so you can ask them to make you a jalapeno and pepperoni pizza and put it out on the buffet, for example, and they will.
While the pizza isn't my favorite, their desserts are pretty darn good, especially the dessert pizza with cinnamon and glaze. When I want good (although pricey) pizza, I head to Pizza King. When I want to pig out for cheap and maybe do a little people watching, I head to Cici's. The people watching is always top-notch here.
