Ichiban Noodles and Sushi

This sushi shack thrives in Castleton amidst large chains that move in, open, and often close, on a yearly basis. Traffic at 82nd St. and Bash Road is gnarly, but keep your cool and you'll be rewarded handsomely.

Good sushi.

Not the best in town (cough cough. Sakura) but not too shabby. I just can't help but think of the friends episode where joey did the commercial for Ichiban: "Lipstick for Men" It was blue men's lipstick. Pretty funny.

Favorite Casual Sushi

Great lunch sushi, it reminds me of the little family run restaurants in Chicago. I love their sesame chicken!

Not the best by far

This is a small, locally owned Sushi restaurant. The fish is not bad but they have horrid rice. It has a bad taste and is very "gummy", a far cry from the excellence of Sakura or Ocean World.
