The best burrito, period!

As a vegetarian I find it difficult to order from most Mexican menus but at LaBambas I can order just about anything and it is all delicious. It's all prepared with no MSG, lard, etc. All authentic. And for my meat eating friends, it also has an elaborate & cheap menu!

La Delish

Don't forget the pork tacos on a corn tortilla. Grab a sack of em with an order of chips and salsa to go. Then hit the bars!

It's 3 am, I must be hungry

I have never eaten at "Bamba's" sober. From what I can remeber, the burritos are huge, maybe not as big as my head, but huge. The best part is standing in line and chatting with all of the other late night burrito junkies. If you plan on taking full advantage of the Broadripple bar scene, I recommend writing "super steak with everything" on your arm. When you get to La Bamba's, just show them your arm and you don't even have to worry about speaking. Sometimes it's just easier that way.

It's like a drunk dial for your tastebuds

What I mean by that is that there is tongue on the menu. Be careful what you eat with a belly full of alcohol in you. If sober, enjoy freely.

The ultimate in Mexican fast-food

This place is great. A combination burrito as-big-as-your-head with everything on it including sour cream & avocado & jalapenos (for some reason you have to insist on those items or they won't get on there) is the most awesome taste sensation. You can actually split one with someone else unless you're really starving or really drunk and think that you're starving. And, their homemade tomatilla sauce is the best - I always pick up several of the little containers so that I can drench my burrito in it. And, one other thing that sets La Bamba way above other Mexican joints is that they have tongue tacos! They're great. Don't let the name scare you - the tongue tasted like a slow-roasted beef roast. Excellence!

Great food no matter what state you are in

We were the only ones there on a recent balmy Sunday afternoon. I guess most people do think of it as a late night place but the food was way more wonderful than we expected. We did appreciate the meatless options, the torta was so good (love that crunchy bread), and that tamale was amazing. We just thought it was greasy Mexican to soak up alchohol but now we know better.

Fantastic

What can I say that hasn't already been said?

Great hours - Better than White Castle for a Midnight run

Huge Burritos - As advertised "As Big As Your Head"

Good Service - Get in an out quick, these people are used to drunken rowdies in the wee hours.
