Several years back Taffy lamented that Broad Ripple lacked a good, cheap Chinese joint. The universe granted his wish and one-upped him with this clean, well-run little wok-shop.

The food's ok but get it to go

The Side Wok is not a great place to "dine-in" the interior is desolate and they have a tv on all the time. My advice is to order it on the phone and take it home.

just what is needed

sometimes its great, sometimes its good. the spicy is spicy. the eggrolls arent just grease and cabbage. the rice is NEVER over or under-cooked.

the general tso's could be crispier, but for the cost and the time and the decor, this joint is worth it.
