El Rodeo (1265 N. Madison Ave., Suite 141, Greenwood, IN)2
The place kinda seems like a hole in the wall, at least the bar portion seemed that way. The dining area was pretty spacious, we had a group of about 15 and they seemed to handle it pretty well. I ordered a large beer and it was pretty large, i think like 30oz of beer. Needless to say it was a good time. The food is pretty good, nothing to go on and rave about, but its not horrible like most chain Mexican joints out there. I would say that its a good place to eat if your on the south side and your feeling something a little south of the border that isnt taco bell.

Birdy's (2131 E. 71st St., Indianapolis, IN)
Ive been to Birdys on a good nights and bad nights, the drinks are not that great priced, but the place is pretty cool they have a nice upstairs to play some pool they have a nice open area downstairs for cool dj and dancing. The walls and ceilings are pretty interesting. The staff is friendly and its in a cool area. Not that far away from the ripple. or the 86th street area.

Buck Wildz (6235 Guilford Ave., Indianapolis, IN)
All I can say is that the service suck, no matter what time you go. It could be a dead afternoon and it will still take an eternity to get your wings. The wing sauces are pretty crappy IMO, The food is other than the wings is mediocre. It is plently loud and if your not a regular the people who are when you are there rooting for the oposite team think they can start a riot. I just cant stand the place that much. I would rather go somewhere else for cheap beer.

Bud's Tavern (3015 Lafayette Road, Indianapolis, IN)
Well I used to live kinda in the area off of kessler, so i decided to try this place out one night. The drinks were cheap, so that was a plus, it had an old 1950s nostalgic feel to it, but with modern amenities. It was a little intimidating at first, the bartenders gave me a wierd look, maybe its cause i look under 21, but after the awkard feel it got better. The bar tenders ended up being pretty cool and the bar is pretty fun. They do have 2 pool tables, but im gonna be honest and say that the pool tables were complete crap the ball would struggle to roll straight and the bumpers were pretty beat up and so were the cues, but you can bring your own. On the other hand they were only 50cent tables so I cant really complain to bad. Ive been back a few times, but the only reason i can say someone would want to go is if you were trying to get some pre game action before you hit a strip club which is down the street.

John Wayne's Pub and Eatery (2367 E. Stop 11 Road, Indianapolis, IN)4
I will agree the chicken is pretty tasty for a bar, and there are a ton of pool tables, something i like, but its pretty croweded and its hard to play pool when its crowded. I will say that on a non weekend night it is a pretty chill place to just shoot some pool.

Vogue Nightclub (6259 N. College Ave., Indianapolis, IN)7
The vouge was a good stop back in college, the great thing about the vogue is the different nights. Retro Rewind and other great themed nights. The place is pretty big and spacious with lots of different areas. I would go again. In the summer when college students are gone its real good too.

Slippery Noodle Inn (372 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN)5
Ive been to this par a few times and its always a good time. They have 3 different areas and its all fun. The stage in the back is where you find lots of good blues bands and its pretty inexpensive. The food is ok, not the best, but its a bar. I havent tried their lunch though, so that may be different. Everyone should see some good bands here and its pretty central to lots of parking and other bars.

Connor's Pub (6331 Ferguson St., Indianapolis, IN)
So its not on the main strip of broad ripple, and may be a little walk, but its a nice cozy bar that has a good atmosphere. I thought it was a little on high side for drinks, but they do have specials and , ive always had a good time, however i seem to get lost by the time i leave and dont know where im at. It is dark and that is the downside of it.

Applebee's (1072 Broad Ripple Ave., Indianapolis, IN)9
Randy, people still go cause its for the most part consistent, whether its total crap in your opinion or decent in my opinion. Its somewhat cheap and easy. My last experience there I had an older lady waiting on us and it was great. She was very friendly and made sure i got everything I needed. She was even pretty personal, maybe it was slow, but the service was great. I would go to again, but i do understand that most of the other applesbees suck, the one that was In columbus, IN was horrible.

Taza Cafe (825 Broad Ripple Ave., Indianapolis, IN)4
Well this is the spot to get some food when your in broad ripple. I like the hot dogs on the street, but when they cant cut it, this is the spot to go. The guy who serves you is pretty funny and if you not careful and your pretty wasted make sure you total your bill right. Its got alot of good gyros and it always comes fully loaded. Its the spot to go to before you head home after a long night of bar hoping.

Brad's Gold Club (3551 Lafayette Road, Indianapolis, IN)1
Its a decent strip club, not that im a frequent of them either, but the lady’s there that night were not that impressive and on top of that the one wouldnt leave me alone. The bouncer finally had to tell her get off haha. I went for my buddies bachelor party and it was still pretty fun even with the crazy stripper. I would say if your having a bachelor party then its a good time, but not one I would frequent. On the plus side there is a Rally’s that is open really late and a gas station and bank right by so you wont have to pay some ridiculous ATM charge in strip club.

Howl at the Moon (20 E. Georgia St., Indianapolis, IN)
I recently went to the bar and it was a great time, but I also have to say it depends on the crowd as well. You have to get into it and have a good time. First time for me to go to a piano bar, (from columbus) normally dont have bars like that. It was a great time, had some beer sang some good tunes that even I knew. Ill recommend for a nice place in the middle of your night of bar hopping.

Casba (6319 Guilford Ave., Indianapolis, IN)
Good change of pace and nice music, but whatever you do dont order a casba shot
-
Alley Cat (6267 Carrollton Ave., Indianapolis, IN)
Yea i was there at 7am my homecoming years for Butler, but man the place is a dive bar. Its got cheap beer and lots of pool. With your buddies it makes for a good time.

Peppers (6283 N. College Ave., Indianapolis, IN)
Its probably the best of the broadripple bars that are normal bars anyways. Its got an upstairs with lots go do, and usually a pretty decent band playing. The downstairs you can kick it and dance the night away with you friends. I would recommend it for a good time. It is pretty packed most of the time though.
-
Johnny Carino's (920 U.S. 31 North, Greenwood, IN)
Its on par with olive garden, nothing that great by any means. Staff seemed so enthused to be there (not sarcasm) and the food was only so so. Would go to if a group of people wanted to go, but would not recommend.
-
Don Pablo's (8150 U.S. 31 S., Greenwood, IN)3
I coulnd believe how bad it was. My meal wasnt even cooked and didnt notice till a couple bites down then it occured to me taht it souldnt be cold in teh middle. It was horrible. The manager thought I was being unreasonable as well. I Would not recomend it and wont be going back any time.

Cheeseburger in Paradise (4670 Southport Crossings Way, Indianapolis, IN)12
Although its kinda corny inside with all of the surfs up junk, its actually a really nice place to try and eat. I got the plate of small cheeseburgers and it was delicious. I would say that the staff is pretty friendly too. You can also sit outside if your lucky and get a table before its taken up.
-
Famous Dave's Legendary Pit Bar-B-Que (3645 Vincennes Road, Indianapolis, IN)3
I got the pulled pork and then got some ribs, its really good for ribs and pulled pork, but their chips/fries were not so tasty. But its all good cause they have a good selection of beers to chase it down. Overall a pretty nice place even if you have a large group.
-
Cici's Pizza (4740 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, IN)4
Really the pizza is crap, the breadstick….meh they’re ok, but thats about it. But i cant really complain cause its 5 bucks so all you can eat thats pretty good especially if youve got alot of people with you, and it helps if they have a litte alchohol in them cause that will help them not notice the horrible taste.
