MacNiven's Restaurant and Bar (339 Massachusetts Ave., Indianapolis, IN)13
As in Young’s Double Chocolate Stout! The best! And the coolest thing about this place, is that it’s where my hubby and I went on our first date, and we fell in love while drinking Young’s. I heart MacNiven’s.

Dear spinach and mushroom etouffe: I love you almost as much as my husband.

Metro Restaurant & Nightclub (707 Massachusetts Ave., Indianapolis, IN)1
You know, I’ve never even been to the karaoke thing, I just like to go there after work sometimes with my sweetie and have a beer and cheese fries – and this is a good thing. I like the atmosphere and the absolutely crazy-odd videos they always have playing, that I’ve never seen anywhere else. I actually like to go there when it’s NOT that busy, when I want to unwind and have a free-for-all rambling conversation. And they humor me! Good times.

English Ivy's (944 N. Alabama St., Indianapolis, IN)
This is my neighborhood pub, and I love it so. Everyone there is so nice and I LOVE that they turn off the loud music for Desperate Housewives on Sunday nights! Different drink specials every night, and smoking is separated from the non. The staff is awesome, love you guys!

Radio Radio (1119 Prospect St., Indianapolis, IN)
This is a great venue, I like the intimacy, the seating variety, and that it is Smoke-Free! I’ve enjoyed Melissa Ferrick, Bitch, and Red Light Driver there, among others. Nice variety in music too! Highly recommended =)

Talbott Street Bar (2145 N. Talbott St., Indianapolis, IN)3
Hey! No mention of the best female impersonators in the Midwest!? Ladies of Legends in the cabaret! It’s also my favorite place to dance, and look at femmey boys! Cute bartenders, Josh and Shahona, and my favorite alt girls, Asia, Alana, and Vicki! YAY!

Buca di Beppo (35 N. Illinois St, Indianapolis, IN)11
This place has decor that is almost better than the food. Almost. I’ve been there countless number of times, and I still see things I’ve never noticed before. Love the s’ghetti, and love the chianti.
