Ram Restaurant and Brewery (140 S. Illinois St., Indianapolis, IN)

My husband and I went into Ram because we wanted something different. We were not impressed at all! We sat at the bar and had a woman bartender. I ordered the sampler because we love beer. She did not even blink to help us through it. She just sat it down and walked away. No smile no nothing. They were awful, there was too much hops and not enough flavor. Then I order the crab and artichoke appetizer and my husband order the buffalo quesadilla. The crab appetizer tasted totally like cooked mayo. The crustini that it came with were not even crispy. Although my husband liked the quesadilla, I will not be going back.

Alcatraz Brewing Company (49 W. Maryland St., Indianapolis, IN)

From the below Alcatraz seems like a place I would not visit, but I wanted to give them a fair chance. I was exceptionally surprised. The quality of food has increased, they have a new lunch menu that runs Monday – Thursday that was really good! You should try the southwest chicken wrap. It was spicy and awesome. The french fries that came with it were fresh cut and moist. They were the best fries I have ever had. The manager was very friendly and the service was better than RAM! Sometimes, you have to experience things for yourself in order to get a full picture. I would recommend Alcatraz to my friends.
