The best burger I have had in a long time. The Maui-Wowie is not to be missed! Staff was great too. Just might become a regular here.

This is another yats in the making. Community based food! Great gourmet burgers on the go and a to-die-for black bean burger. Can I just say that its densely flavorful and spicy (Spicy doesn’t mean hot)! Now here’s where it gets progressive and interesting. You can order any burger with a veggie, black bean, tuna or chicken. So while the menu is built around traditional beef burgers – you can customize your burger with any number of options – I love it with bbq sauce, seragno peppers, and yes a slice of pineapple (oh and extra onion).
The fries and onion rings are delicious – but its the engagement. They remember me – and Mark and Darrio take care of everybody!!
last but not least – the shakes are heavenly…….

Chanced upon a lunch at Boogie Burger thisafternoon and am already making plans to go back.
This place is the epitomy of all that I adore in food.
It’s burgers and fries and shakes you nearly need to spoon out…still made in blender (not the hyper-commercial, stainless steel, monstrous shake machine).
It’s diner-style seating offering people watching out the store-front-style window.
It’s random artwork and articles on the wall.
It’s Paul Simon and other randomly excellent music played softly in the background, just audible above the hum of conversation.
It’s a purveyor who personally walked around to be sure that our burgers were up to par and dropped off to go menus and encouraged us to come back.
I’m so full I had trouble prying myself from my seat.
It was “toss-your-tie-and-go-for-it” good [alas, not my words, but noteworthy nonetheless].
Everyone. Go try the Maui-Wowie. Right. Now.

I’ve been reading so much about the famed garlic fries I had to eat here. I dipped mine in mayonnaise, which is what I normally do, and thought they were delicious. You have to eat them fast though, because after they sit for a little while they get pretty soggy.
The inside has very cramped quarters, with interesting posters, and quirky decor. It had a nice cozy atmosphere. Since it was warm-ish I chose to sit outside, which was great. I’ll definitely be going here more often for the fries when the weather condones sitting on the patio.

I went there last night and sat outside since it was a pretty nice evening after a bike ride. Its got a friendly staff and great food. It is a little cramped in there and it does take a little bit for food, but the small wait is worth it. Would recommend to everyone.

Boogie Burger has been a favorite of my wife and I for almost a year now, we actually went there last night. The recent redesign of the place has made it a much easier place to eat in. Now the chairs have backs! Garlic fries rule – seasond salt is a must. The New yorker is great, the Wild Wild West still amazes me and the Boogie Monster is way too intimidating for me to try.
The only complaint would be that they need better AC in the summer.

Not quite a year old but full of the funky spirit of the ’70s, Boogie Burger has soul (a sign in the restaurant confirms it) …

After visiting Monon Coffee, the baristas told me to check out Boogie for their garlic fries. I headed right over and bought two burgers and some garlic fries. I ended up ordering the regular fries and forgot to ask for the garlic, but the man at the counter let me upgrade no problem. I bought my hot sauce loving husband the Disco Inferno and took it home to him. I didn’t tell him about the peppers and he took a big bite and went running out of the room. :)
AWESOME FOOD! Thanks Boogie.

Boogie Burgers is excellent, but if you visit, make sure you are in the mood for a hamburger and some french fries. The menu does not venture much farther out than that (though there was a good looking Buffalo Chicken sandwich). Having said that, their burgers run the range from traditional to topped with fried egg and bacon. I had their (obligatory) spicy burger, topped with jalapeno and serrano chiles – really good stuff. And, like everyone else here has suggested, the garlic fries are worth the visit.
Finally, I don’t know if it was just the night we were in or a regular thing, but the music that was playing kicked ass.

I’m partial to the Blue Moon (bleu cheese burger), but even the basic Boogie Burger makes you remember what a real hamburger is supposed to taste like . . . and it’s NOTHING like the fast food you’re used to.
Plus, the garlic fries, which I tried for the first time last night, are simply amazing. Minced garlic, sprinkled with parsley. Good god. I love garlic and this totally hit the spot!
