Butler and WNDY-23 announced Friday that 13 Bulldogs basketball games will be televised live on the Indianapolis station. That is in addition to eight appearances, and as many as 12, on one of the ESPN networks.

The Bulldogs, coming off a 26-6 season, will be nationally ranked in preseason polls for the first time.

“The Butler Bulldog roster is loaded with talent again this season, and will continue to be one of the elite programs in the NCAA,” said Jeff White, president and general manager of MyINDY-TV, in a release. “Central Indiana viewers can share another thrilling season with front row seats on MyINDY-TV. The caliber of this team and the tradition and quality of Butler’s program are among the best in the nation.”

Anthony Calhoun of WISH-8 will team with longtime Butler radio analyst Ralph Reiff on the telecasts.
