Wildcats' Ferguson to play at Top-100 camp
Lawrence North’s Dominique Ferguson has been selected to play in the National Basketball Players Association Top-100 camp.
Ferguson, who reopened his recruitment after initially committing to Kentucky, is considered one of the top 10 players in the 2010 class.
Ferguson will be joined by 24 of the top 25 players in Scout.com’s ranking of the 2010 class at the camp that runs June 17-24 at the University of Virginia. The 6-9 forward will be playing with other elite players such as Tristan Thompson from Findlay Prep in Nevada; Harrison Barnes of Ames, Iowa; and Brandon Knight of Pine Crest in Florida.
The camp, in its 17th year, has included players such as Greg Oden, Mike Conley and Kevin Durant, as well as NBA stars such as Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard.
Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar will give the keynote address.
