Wii Fit, Day 5

According to the Wii Fit, I’ve lost more than three pounds and I’m now 23 years old — three years younger than I actually am.

I have no idea how this happened, and I’m fairly certain the Wii Fit’s got no responsibility in the weight loss.

Maybe I should come clean and say that when I first weighed myself on Day 1, I had just come from a delicious dinner at El Sol. Said dinner may or may not have involved several pounds of enchiladas, guacamole and a few margaritas. Perhaps, maybe, three pounds worth of those items?

I can, however, chock up the younger, more vibrant glow of a 23-year-old girl to the game. Balance, posture, all that junk — has improved since I started this little fitness experiment.

Not only that, but it kept my “OMG, look, it’s got tassles!” of a brain on task, interested and most importantly, competitive with myself.

Because I can’t continue to be interested in anything, apparently, unless there’s something I can beat myself at.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to top my hula hoop score.

What – or shall I ask whom distracts you with tassles?!

Oh man. It sounds like I spend a lot of time with showgirls, doesn’t it? I’m just easily distracted by flashy things, that’s all.
