OK, so I hiiiiiighly doubt at this point that my Wii Fit is doing anything for me but giving me another outlet to waste time.

(Albeit a fun waste of time.)

That’s not to say I don’t think it soon will give me some sort of aerobic exercise, but as of right now, all I’ve done is shift some weight to thwap some soccer balls with my Mii’s head on the first day, and then some fairly easy yoga on the second.

I excelled at the breathing exercise. In fact, this was the first time the game told me I did something right. Next came a few simple poses, and the option to string them all together.

It even came with my own personal trainer who accused me of losing my balance (yet again? I’m sensing a recurring theme here…)

Yeah, it’s kinda fun, but what are you getting out of it? Is it worth the $90 for the balance board and the game combo? Maybe so, if you’re buying it for what it is — a game.

Tomorrow we’re getting into the aerobics. Prove me wrong, Wii.
